"Last year we hosted Jack, an EVO coach for a couple of weeks. At first we were hesitant, but after the first few days we could not have been happier that we chose to host. We have two boys (ages then 3/5) and having Jack here gave both the boys someone to look forward to seeing at practice as well as at home in the evening. Jack was very respectful of our family's routines and helped out and played with the boys in the evening. Hosting Jack for our boys and us was a positive experience and I would suggest giving it a try to all the families out there that are able to accommodate a friendly, kind and respectful person. "

I have hosted a minimum of ten coaches during my time with our club. Each hosted coach has brought new learning experience to my two boys whom played soccer both in house and travel at Wolcott Soccer. We have had soccer coaches from all parts of England no part better than the rest, and several favorite teams have now been passed onto to our family. We stay in contact with about half the boys still today through social media. I recommend all to host a coach at least once for their children's benefit

"We have thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Evo coaches these past 3 seasons. The experience of sharing our home with someone from another country has been a benefit to all of us. Our sons love playing and spending time with our guests both inside and outside the house. Learning about and having discussions about differences between our countries is something my husband and I enjoy as well. We have hosted 2 different coaches and they have both been very kind, polite and friendly. It eventually felt as if they were a member of our family. It is a great experience for parents and children alike and I would recommend it to all families!"

Hosting a soccer coach for our family turned into a great cultural experience and lasting camaraderie. My two boys learned about another country, language and improved on their soccer skills at the same time. Out of personal choice, our guest coach became part of the family activity, meals, travel and certainly family jokes. It was fun opening up the world of America to our Brit, while we were trying to master an ear for his English and the catchy phrases that came with it. Our dog even become attached to the mate! A worthwhile experience for all."
